My 2025 Wellness Resolutions: 5 Habits to Feel Strong, Energized & Balanced
Looking to feel more energized, fit, and in control of your health in 2025? You’re not alone. As more people prioritize holistic wellness, it’s clear that small daily habits are the real game-changers. This year, I’m embracing five wellness resolutions that focus on strength, metabolic health, mental clarity, and sustainable energy.
Here’s how I’m resetting and realigning my wellness journey in 2025—and how you can, too.
1. Eliminate Alcohol for Better Sleep and Recovery
After tracking my health with the Oura Ring for the past year, the data was undeniable—alcohol, even in moderation, significantly affected my sleep, recovery, and mental clarity. During two alcohol-free months in 2024, I experienced calmer moods and a surprising absence of daily anxiety.
So I’m starting 2025 with a three-month no-alcohol commitment. This gives me a chance to experience my body’s true potential at peak performance. Plus, I’ve never regretted a night that didn’t include a drink.
2. Prioritize Daily Protein Intake for Muscle, Energy, and Balance
Most women don’t consume enough protein, and that can lead to low energy, muscle loss, and poor metabolic function. Protein isn’t stored like other nutrients—it needs to be replenished daily to maintain strength, satiety, and hormonal balance.
This year, I’m aiming for 1 gram of protein per pound of ideal body weight, every day. While I don’t count calories, I am committing to tracking my daily protein intake to stay consistent.
I'll focus on lean meats, eggs, salmon, fresh tuna, and clean protein powders where needed. Protein is my foundation for long-term wellness.
3. Eat More and Move More for a Faster Metabolism
In 2025, I’m embracing the principle of energy flux—eating more while also moving more. This increases metabolic activity, supports fat loss, and boosts daily energy.
Before, I would increase exercise but forget to fuel my body properly, or eat more without increasing movement. Now I aim to balance both. My goal? More energy moving through the system = better results.
This isn’t about restriction—it’s about creating a vibrant, strong, and responsive body by nourishing and challenging it consistently.
4. Add Weekly HIIT Workouts to Improve Cardiovascular Health
I used to love high-intensity group workouts like F45, and while I’ve since shifted to traditional weight training, I’ve missed the heart-pounding, endorphin-boosting sweat sessions.
This year, I’m adding one HIIT-style session per week to boost my cardiovascular health and endurance. It’s the perfect complement to strength training and a reminder that breaking a sweat feels amazing.
5. Test for Food Sensitivities to Reduce Bloating and Inflammation
Many people live with unidentified food sensitivities that cause fatigue, bloating, and inflammation. Instead of guessing, I’ve ordered Dr. Stephen Cabral’s Food Sensitivity IgG Test to uncover my unique triggers and take control of how food affects my body.
This at-home lab test will help me fine-tune my diet for better digestion, clearer skin, more energy, and less inflammation. It’s a key step in listening to my body and fueling it with what it truly needs.
Final Thoughts: Creating a Healthier, More Energized You in 2025
These 2025 wellness resolutions aren’t about extremes—they’re about building a lifestyle rooted in balance, intention, and self-awareness. Whether it's quitting alcohol, fueling better with protein, or understanding your body's sensitivities, each step leads to a stronger, more vibrant version of yourself.
I’m excited to see the impact these changes will have—and if you’re setting your own health goals, I’d love to hear about them in the comments below!
